Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong Teases a Deadly New Kaiju for Final Issue

DC and Legendary Comics have dished on the upcoming final issue of their crossover limited series Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong.

Per DC, Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #7 arrives in comic shops this April from writer Brian Buccellato, artist Christian Duce, and colorist Luis Guerrero. The issue features a main cover by Drew Johnson, as well as variant covers by Jim Lee with Scott Williams, Dan Mora, Mikel Janín, and Kendrick “Kunkka” Lim.

The official synopsis teases the introduction of a dangerous new kaiju DC’s heroes will need all the help they can get to defeat. “In this series finale, two worlds face annihilation in an all-out war between the DCU and Leg­endary’s Monsterverse!” it reads. “With the help of Godzilla and Kong, can the Justice League win a battle against a re-formed Mechagodzilla and a new, even more deadly, hybrid Titan — a byproduct of two worlds, the likes of which neither universe has ever seen!”

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong gets a hardcover collection in June

After Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #7 arrives in April, a hardcover volume collecting the entire series will hit shelves in June. Featuring cover art by Mora, the book is currently available for pre-order.

The official synopsis for the Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong hardcover reads as follows: “The DC Universe is about to get shaken-up when the Legion of Doom unlocks a portal to another dimension, unleashing the fiercest Monsters in the Multiverse. Godzilla, the King of the Monsters has emerged from the deep seas of Metropolis, interrupting Superman‘s proposal to Lois Lane. King Kong is taking on the world’s greatest heroes in his home turf, Skull Island. Can the Justice League send these creatures back to their own dimension before it’s too late?”

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong #7 goes on sale Tuesday, April 16 from DC and Legendary Comics. The series’ hardcover collection follows suit on Tuesday, June 25.
