Exclusive Preview: Amazing Spider-Man #80

Spider-Man has gone beyond! However, no one invited Peter Parker to be the Beyond Corporation’s new superhero. Instead, the infamous Spider-Man clone, Ben Reilly, is once again the only Spidey. Additionally, Peter is comatose after a supervillain attack. And without Peter, who is Ben? There are also pressing questions about why the Beyond Corp wants a Spider-Man of its own. Amazing Spider-Man #80

Meanwhile, Kraven the Hunter is looking to get his revenge on Spider-Man, even though he doesn’t realize that a switch has been made. Kraven has also drugged Ben out of his mind, as the hunter moves in for the kill.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Amazing Spider-Man #80, writer Cody Ziglar and artist Michael Dowling finds Ben forced to face some very uncomfortable questions about who and what he is. At one point, he even calls himself “Peter.” And while Ben’s mind struggles to overcome these visions and thoughts, Kraven is waiting to strike.
