Exclusive Preview: Iron Man #5

Tony Stark tried to take his life back to basics. He really did. However, the Avengers’ cosmic foe, Korvac, had other ideas. With his new lease on life, Korvac is making a new power grab by attempting to seize Taa-II, the legendary worldship of Galactus. Regardless, Iron Man and his friend, Hellcat, have tried to stop Korvac’s plans in their tracks. In the process, Hellcat was gravely injured. She also formed some kind of link to Korvac himself, and may now be compromised. That’s why Tony is turning to other heroes for help.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Iron Man #5,  Christopher Cantwell and the artist known as Cafu show us Tony’s emergency team of heroes. Aside from Misty Knight, he’s kind of scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Meanwhile, Korvac has a team of his own. He also has War Machine/Jim Rhodes as a hostage, if Tony tries to stop him again.
