Exclusive Preview: Iron Man #3

Tony Stark is not the man he used to be. But he is still Iron Man. After a brush with death in Iron Man 2020, Stark is having a bit of a midlife crisis. He just doesn’t know how to find himself again. Regardless, Stark has bigger problems on the horizon. Korvac is back from the dead, and he’s gunning for Iron Man!

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Iron Man #3,  Christopher Cantwell and the artist known as Cafu show us a few vignettes of Stark attempting to make himself happy. Stark being Stark, that means showing off and trying to find the adoration he craves. However, it’s just not working for him anymore.

Here’s the official description from Marvel.

“Tony Stark is getting tired of apologizing for being himself, especially when as Iron Man he’s more powerful than most any other human being on Earth. As he wears himself out trying to do everything he can to be a force of good in the world, he’s beginning to chafe at the idea that he really owes anybody anything. Is it too much to ask for a thank you? He’s trying to keep his head down and his ego in check, but when KORVAC reveals himself as the puppet master behind Stark’s latest investment, Tony will at least have somewhere to channel his anger and frustration… That is, if he survives the conflict at all.“
