The Doctor Helps the Daleks in Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious Trailer

The enormous legacy of Doctor Who continues, as the franchise is currently running a special multi-platform event called Time Lord Victorious. It involves several stories across audio, novels, comics, vinyl, digital, immersive theatre, and more. The event started back in August, and it will run until January 2021. According to the official synopsis, “Time Lord Victorious will be set within the Dark Times at the start of the universe, when even the Eternals were young. It features the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Doctors, travelling across Space and Time as they defend the universe from a terrible race.”

Now, Titan Comics is debuting the brand new Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious graphic novel that collects issues #1 and #2 of the Time Lord Victorious comic book that helped kick off the crossover event. The story marked the return of the Golden Emperor, a.k.a. the Dalek Prime — the first Dalek ever — to a mainstream storyline. The two old enemies will have to bury the hatchet if they want to survive.

Titan Comics has also released a trailer for the book. You can watch it in the player below.

Written by Jody Houser, Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious features artwork by Roberta Ingranata. The official synopsis reads:

“The Tenth Doctor awakes in a timeline that is not his own, finding himself pursued, impossibly, by the entire Dalek Empire. Even more impossibly, the Daleks are losing a battle with a race who ceased to exist long ago. The Dalek Emperor needs help, and there’s only one person in the universe more terrifying than Daleks – but can the Doctor ever trust the Dalek Emperor, and be willing to save his Empire?”

The Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious graphic novel will hit the stores on Nov. 17. In the meantime, you can check a preview of it (via Comicbook.com) in the gallery below.
