Brainiac 5 Must Take a Side in New Supergirl Episode 5.12 Photos

Supergirl‘s fans may have felt a little bit abandoned the past week since their favorite show didn’t air. The reason why the series took a week off was the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony, which mesmerized viewers around the world. The good news is that The CW’s show will return at the end of the current week. Now the television network has released a set of promotional stills from the upcoming episode of the series, which will feature Brainiac 5 stuck into a Hamlet-style dilemma of choosing between his old friend Supergirl and Lex Luthor.

The synopsis of “Back From the Future – Part Two” reads as follows:

“Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) helps Winn (guest star Jeremy Jordan) face his greatest fear. After Alex (Chyler Leigh) sets out to find evidence against Lex (guest star Jon Cryer), Brainy (Jesse Rath) must decide between helping his friend or continuing to secretly work for Lex.”

Alexis Ostrander directed the episode, written by Rob Wright and J. Holtham. You can check the new Supergirl Episode 5.12 photos in the gallery below.
