This fall, yet another team of heroes will make its mark on the Marvel Universe. Earlier today, the company teased a new superpowered collective on Instagram. Now, they’ve released a brief trailer for the mysterious group, which is called Doc Justice and the J-Team.
The trailer primarily features commentary from Marvel executive editor Nick Lowe. Channeling his inner Stan Lee, Lowe hypes the new characters in a voice possessing enough zeal to make even the Man himself blush.
“The world isn’t fair, the world isn’t right,” exclaimed Lowe. “Doc Justice and his motley crew of teen superheroes are coming onto the scene to save the innocent and bring down the evil!”
Lowe then toned down the theatrics to share why readers should be excited for the J-Team’s debut. It’s not clear if the characters will make their first appearance in another hero’s comic or start with their own ongoing series. But Lowe’s enthusiasm suggests that the team is poised to send shockwaves throughout the Marvel landscape.

“In the 17 years I’ve been editing comics, I’ve loved ushering in new characters,” said Lowe. “But I’ve never been so excited about a new team. The J-Team is gonna change part of the Marvel Universe forever. I know we say that a lot, but it’s true.”
“Not much is known about the man behind the mask,” continued Lowe. “But Doc Justice and the J-Team are joining the Marvel tapestry of incredible characters to bring a new type of comic to you comic to you comic book readers.”
