Mädchen Amick (“My Own Worst Enemy,” “Californication,” “Twin Peaks”) has been cast in the comic book adaptation Priest, directed by Scott Stewart.
She’ll join Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Stephen Moyer and Lily Collins in the film, set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire. It follows a warrior priest (Bettany) who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.
Amick will play Shannon, the mother of the kidnapped niece.
Screen Gems is planning an August 13, 2010 release for Priest.
