Variety reports that producer Jeannie Bendel has optioned Victoria’s Secret Service, an upcoming comic book series by Darren Davis, and signed a first-look producing deal with Energy Entertainment’s Brooklyn Weaver.
It’s the third studio sale of a comic book property for Davis, who also sold Isis to Paramount-based Grammnet and The Tenth Muse to Ali Russell.
Victoria’s Secret Service centers on an American girl selected to join a clandestine organization formed by Queen Victoria during her reign over the British Empire.
