Scooper ‘crossbow’ has an interesting bit on who turned down the lead in Son of the Mask, the follow-up to The Mask which starred Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz.
Jack Black was being interviewed yesterday on a Boston radio station (WBCN) and was asked if there were any blockbuster roles that he had turned down in the past. He said there were none he could think of, although he recently turned down the lead in Mask 2: Son of the Mask, which he thinks may do well with Jamie Kennedy instead of himself.
Jack Black can next be seen in “The School of Rock”. Son of the Mask is scheduled to start filming in November in Queensland, Australia.
