With multiple Superman character cameos, Peacemaker Season 2 has shaped up to be bigger than the previous season. From Justice Gang to Lex Luthor, the show has featured key characters from the James Gunn movie. As a show that will lead to the Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, some of these cameos play an integral part in this season.

All 11 Superman characters who returned in Peacemaker Season 2
Since Peacemaker and James Gunn’s Superman share the same universe, the show featured several Superman characters to raise the stakes in the show. So, here’s a list of all the characters that appear in Peacemake Season 2.
- Superman (David Corenswet): Appears during the recap of the first season in episode 1. The actor was not present to film his cameo, but the silhouette was good enough to prove Superman’s presence.
- Supergirl (Milly Alcock): Appears in the recap. Similar to Corenswet, the actress wasn’t available to film her scenes.
- Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi): Also cameos in the recap, along with the rest of the Justice Gang. While the rest of the Justice Gang has had more screen time, Mr. Terrific was limited to the recap.
- Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced): Appears briefly in the recap and also at the beginning of the episode while trying to recruit new members for Justice Gang.
- Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion): After a brief scene in the recap, he later appears along with Hawkgirl.
- Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn): Cameos in the first episode while interviewing Peacemaker for the Justice Gang recruitment initiative.
- Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo): As one of the season’s regulars and the man who’s leading A.R.G.U.S., he plays a pivot role in the show.
- Cleavis Thornwaite (Michael Ian Black): In Superman, Luthor manipulates the media through Cleavis Thornwaite, who later exposes the truth. Thornwaite reappears in Peacemaker Season 2 to report on dangerous metahuman incidents
- Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult): Appears in Episode 6, when Rick Flag Sr. visits him at Belle Reeve to ask for his help in finding Peacemaker.
- Sydney Happersen (Stephen Blackehart): Cameos in Episode 7 and helps A.R.G.U.S. locate the portal’s location.
- Peacemaker (John Cena): Although being the titular character, Peacemaker is one of the characters that appeared in Superman in an interview with Cleavis Thornwaite.
