Kraven the Hunter’s Post-Credits: Is There an End-Credits Scene?

Viewers are curious to know whether Kraven the Hunter features an end, mid, or post-credits scene. Directed by J.C. Chandor, the movie chronicles Kraven’s rough childhood that transforms him into a vicious and feared hunter in his later years. Without spoiling the movie, here’s an article that reveals if you should wait for the post-credits scenes or not.

Does Kraven the Hunter end with a post-credits scene?

No, there is no end, mid, or post-credits scene in Kraven the Hunter.

The audience is free to leave the theater once the credits start rolling as there are no credits scenes. The tradition of adding post-credits scenes began in the 1960s with The Silencers movie. These scenes effectively create anticipation among the audience for a future sequel or are simply used to untangle any unresolved plot queries. However, the Aaron Taylor-Johnson-led film gave fans no hope on where they can see his character next in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.

The chances of getting another sequel appear to be slim, given its low box-office predictions. However, if the movie manages to surpass the predictions and does well at the box office, then another sequel can be thought about by the studio. However, the studio has not confirmed plans for another installment, at the time of writing.

Sony’s stand-alone movies including Madame Web and Morbius hadn’t been able to capture the expected attention in the past. These movies eventually turned out to be a critical and commercial flop due to underwhelming performances, storylines, and CGI. However, director Chandor remains aware of it and has addressed Kraven the Hunter’s chances of facing the same fate.

He acknowledged how some of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe installments didn’t receive the expected response and weren’t hits. However, he assured fans that Kraven the Hunter had focused on the character and had worked on providing the highest quality. The movie will eventually set up Kraven to be the ultimate villain, and not make him play the anti-hero role.

Additionally, Chandor expressed how this movie is self-contained and said, “It is this amazing group of characters that we’ve pulled together that are certainly drawn from all of the lore and all of the canon, which I hope people will be really excited about what we’ve done, but in a way, the movie can stand on its own and you can walk into this movie knowing everything about all of that and nothing, and it really will hopefully work for you in both ways.” (via Screen Rant)

Now, it remains to be seen how the movie will eventually perform at the box office.
