Returning favorites upgraded and some new characters make up the new, improved wave 2 of Hasbro‘s Marvel Legends based on Sony’s acclaimed animated feature Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. New to the wave are Miles G. Morales as the Prowler, Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar, and the unmasked movie version of Hobie/Spider-Punk. Meanwhile, Gwen, Peter B. Parker, Miles, and Miguel O’Hara get updated deco and improved movie likenesses, due to the first wave being based on concept art, and this one on the final, finished film.
Across and Beyond
Rather than including a masked and unmasked head, Hobie includes a purple head that matches the rest of his body, and a full-color, skin-tone head to switch out on the previous Spider-Punk costumed figure. Gwen comes with more colorful hair, and Miguel O’Hara’s holographic comrade Lyrate Lifeform Approximation — better known as LYLA. As for Pavitr, he includes his unique bracelet web-slinger. Peter B. Parker looks like he’s missed a few meals and gotten back into ab day at the gym. Prowler Miles is sure to be a favorite in the cosplay community, and includes his removable backpack as well as extra head and hands.
These figures are all up for preorder now at your favorite retailers, with expected delivery in December. If that seems like a while, consider how much longer you’ve been waiting for the sequel, which doesn’t even have a set release date as of this writing.

There are still plenty of great Spider-Verse characters not yet made as Marvel Legends, including the Kingpin and Dr. Octopus from the first film, and so, so many possible Spider-people in the second. That Leonardo da Vinci-style Vulture could be pretty amazing, if costs warranted. This lineup, however, gives most of the casual fans and movie-detail sticklers what they want, and whom they want most. Take a look at them all below:
