Sony Releases the First Ten Minutes of Ghostbusters: Afterlife

While Ghostbusters Afterlife is still hanging around in theaters, it’s already available to own on digital. That’s why Sony Pictures has decided to release the first ten minutes of the film on YouTube, which you can see below. Sony releases.

In the opening minutes, one of the original Ghostbusters races to his home in Summerville, Oklahoma. However, his efforts to delay or stop a ghost apocalypse will cost him everything he has left. Additionally, the video introduces his daughter, Callie, as well as her children: Phoebe and Trevor. And it’s the kids who will have to carry on their grandfather’s legacy as the new Ghosbusters.

Of course, the grandfather in question is Egon Spengler, as portrayed in the first two films by the late Harold Ramis. Egon’s appearance in the sequel was achieved via special effects. Fortunately, many of the other surviving cast members also appear in the film. They are also the focus of this clip that debuted on Collider. Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are the only ones to really speak at length in the video. However, there are glimpses of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson as well.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife will hit blu-ray and DVD on February 1.
