Neo Employs His Signature Move on The Matrix Resurrections Poster

Next month, the Matrix will be reloaded again as The Matrix Resurrections is officially released. Warner Bros. dropped a shiny new poster for the fourth live-action film in the franchise. It features Keanu Reeves’ Neo extending his hand as if using his trademark move to stop bullets or turn off machines with his powers. As always, Carrie-Anne Moss’ Trinity is beside Neo for his new adventures. The poster also features a closer look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus, donning wardrobe that makes him resemble Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker just a bit.

Besides Trinity, the promotional material also sees Jessica Henwick as Bugs, a mysterious character joining Morpheus’ crew. The character in the background looks like Eréndira Ibarra, but the producers haven’t disclosed her role yet.

You can see the poster here below.

The upcoming film will bring back many familiar faces from the past, including Jada Pinkett Smith’s Niobe, Lambert Wilson’s The Merovingian, and Daniel Bernhardt’s Agent Johnson. However, neither Laurence Fishburne nor Hugo Weaving will reprise their roles as Morpheus and Agent Smith, respectively. While some rumors indicate that they will appear in some way in the movie, possibly via archival footage, neither Fishburne nor Weaving have been announced for Neo’s new story.

The Matrix Resurrections will debut in theaters and HBO Max on December 22.
