Lizze Broadway Joins the Cast of Amazon’s The Boys Spinoff

Last September, Amazon Prime rewarded The Boys’ success by fasttracking a spinoff series. Now, the first cast member has been found. Via Deadline, Lizze Broadway has been signed to star in the series as Emma.

Craig Rosenberg is writing The Boys spinoff series, which doesn’t currently have a name. However, we do know that it’s set at an American college run by Vought International. At this school, young Supes contend with their hormones and their fragile moral boundaries while “competing for the best contracts in the best cities.” Deadline calls it “part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire and raunch of The Boys.”

Specific details about Broadway’s Emma have yet to be released. But her previous roles include The Lost Boys TV pilot, American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules, as well as the TV movie, Instakiller. Her other television credits include The Rookie, Splitting Up Together, and NCIS.

Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television are once again co-producing The Boys spinoff series. Point Grey Pictures, Kripke Enterprises, and Original Film are also producing the series.

Filming may begin later this year. In the meantime, The Boys season 3 recently began production. That show will likely return to Amazon Prime either later this year or in early 2022.
