Mezco One:12 Collective Reveals New Marvel, DC and Hasbro-Based Figures

In a final day of big announcements for the year, Mezco enhanced their high-end, six-inch scale One:12 Collective line in a big way. Perennial Marvel faves Wolverine and Spider-Gwen (Ghost Spider) will join the line-up. Batman gets his Gotham by Gaslight Elseworlds rendition. But perhaps more surprisingly, in Hasbro‘s ongoing bid to license out their in-house characters to every other toy company with a good pitch, G.I. Joe and Power Rangers came aboard. Oh, and Ultraman, previously seen in other Mezco lines, felt like a fait accompli.

Hasbro already makes six-inch Power Rangers, and Super7 just gained the rights to make accessory-heavy, show-specific 7-inch “Ultimate” figures. Mezco, however, will be the first domestic company to do them in six-inch scale with accurate skin-tight costumes over poseable bodies. They kick it off with the Green Ranger, while G.I. Joe gets represented by villainous arms dealer James McCullen, a.k.a. Destro.

Because no toy company ever went broke making Batman figures, the Ripper-fighting Victorian-era Gotham by Gaslight Bat will get his cloak nicely tailored for the first time. Wolverine is also a toy perennial, and Mezco’s latest take is an upgrade of a classic look. Ultraman, of course, is Ultraman.
