Rosario Dawson Shares BTS Video of Her Becoming Ahsoka Tano

Season 2 of The Mandalorian saw the long-awaited debut live-action of Ahsoka Tano. The fan-favorite character was portrayed for the first time outside of animation by actress Rosario Dawson. And she had such an impact that Disney immediately announced a spinoff focused on the former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker. The show will occur concurrently with The Mandalorian, with Dawson resuming her role for the limited series.

The actress recently took to Twitter to share the long process that she underwent to become Ahsoka Tano. While fans already saw some bits in the Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Season 2, the whole video is new. You can check the video here below.

In the sophomore season, Mando and the Child found Ahsoka Tano on Corvus. She revealed that Baby Yoda’s real name is Grogu, and she also said that he survived Order 66. Mando, together with Ahsoka, clashed with the city’s magistrate Morgan Elsbeth and her guards as the former Jedi forced Elsbeth to divulge the location of her master, the Grand Admiral Thrawn. After all, he might be alive after the events of Star Wars Rebels, where Ahsoka, Ezra, and the others apparently defeated him for good. Ahsoka refused to train Grogu to use the force since she sensed he is too attached to Mando, reminding her of Anakin’s dangerous downfall.

Disney has yet to reveal an official release date for the Star Wars: Ahsoka series.
