Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Finale Teaser Promises a Bittersweet Farewell
The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have seen a lot over the course of seven seasons. Throughout their time together, they’ve taken on Nazi sleeper cells, demons, killer robots, and evil space aliens from the future. They’ve even prevented the apocalypse on more than one occasion. Now, as their latest time-traveling adventure comes to an end, so does their beloved series on ABC. Ahead of next week’s two-hour finale, Marvel has just released a new promo for the remaining two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Season 7 has delivered plenty of ups and downs. However, it looks like the agents will have to make even more sacrifices before going off the air. And despite Chronicom Predictor Sibyl’s insistence that they’ve failed, the team isn’t giving up that easily. It’s clear from this latest promo that viewers can expect an action-packed finale. There’s dogfights in space, shotgun-axes, and an epic showdown between Daisy Johnson and Nathaniel Malick, who took Daisy’s Quake powers for himself earlier this season.

But beyond all the spectacle, the promo highlights the bonds that have been forged between the agents. Enoch’s prophecy about the team’s final mission might be coming true. Regardless, they’re going to fight like hell to ensure that S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn’t get scrubbed from existence.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will wrap up its seven season run on Wednesday, August 12 on ABC.
