Wolé Parks Cast As The Stranger In Superman and Lois TV Series

Superman may be the most popular hero on his Earth, but there are still people who hate him in The CW’s Superman and Lois TV series. Deadline is reporting that Wolé Parks has been cast as a series regular, and his character is looking to take down Superman.

According to the report, Parks will portray the Stranger, “a mysterious visitor hellbent on proving to the world that it no longer needs Superman.” Parks has previously appeared in Superstore, The Crossing, Premium Rush, and Single All the Way. He also recurs on Yellowstone.

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will headline the series as Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane. The series will follow the iconic couple as they deal with raising two teenage sons.

Emmanuelle Chriqui will play Clark’s ex-girlfriend, Lana Lang. Erik Valdez will co-star as Lana’s husband, Kyle Cushing.  Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin will also star in the series as Superman and Lois’ sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent. Additionally, Dylan Walsh will portray Lois’ father, General Sam Lane.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a pilot episode for the series has yet to be filmed. However, The CW has already ordered Superman and Lois straight-to-series. Pandemic permitting, the 13-episode first season will be filmed this summer.
