A few familiar faces reunited with Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard in the first season of Star Trek: Picard. But according to one former Star Trek: The Next Generation cast member, there may be at least one more reunion in the second season.
“How do I say this without getting in trouble,” said LeVar Burton when asked by ET about potentially reprising his role as Geordi La Forge. “I think that is reasonable to assume that those people are still a part of Picard’s life and — sure, what the hell — yeah, absolutely! You’ll see us all, probably not all at the same time but, you know, never say never.”
Burton portrayed La Forge in all seven seasons of The Next Generation and in four Star Trek feature films.

Although La Forge didn’t appear in the first season of Picard, the tie-in comic, Star Trek: Picard — Countdown, implied that LeForge left the Enterprise-E to command the Utopia Planitia Shipyards near Mars several years prior to the series. La Forge presumably survived the terrorist attack on Mars. An alternate timeline episode of Star Trek: Voyager featured La Forge as the captain of his own ship. However, it remains to be seen where La Forge has landed within Picard‘s timeframe.
