Westworld fans got their first look at the show’s third season when HBO dropped a surprise trailer ahead of the Game of Thrones finale. Now, the network has released yet another trailer for the new episodes to coincide with the series’ Comic-Con panel.
The last season ended with Dolores escaping from the titular park while posing as Charlotte Hale. Now in a new body for herself, her goal becomes to “show this world for what it really is,” or so she thinks. Unfortunately, it looks like she and others get hunted by a team of mercenaries hired by Delos. During her narration, Dolores reveals her initial belief that the humans’ world would be so much different than the confined surroundings she’s used to. But as she soon learns, “there’s no difference at all, is there?”

It also looks like viewers will get to see other themed lands in the new season. Most notably, we see Maeve walking through a World War II battleground, complete with soldiers and Nazi flags. Additionally, it seems as though one side will employ the use of heavily armed robots in their efforts to bring the situation under control.
Westworld‘s reputation is that of a series that constantly keeps audiences in the dark. However, co-creator Jonathan Nolan recently told Entertainment Weekly that the new season will be “less of a guessing game” this time around. Instead, it will be “more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers.”
Season 3 of Westworld premieres in 2020. You can check out the new trailer for yourself below, then tell us what you think in the comment section!
