Exclusive Preview: Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #5

Who is Cosmic Ghost Rider? He’s Frank Castle a.k.a. the Punisher. It’s a long story, but the short version is that in the far future, Castle became the Ghost Rider and gained cosmic powers. He also went crazy. Well, crazier. For a while, he even worked for the Thanos of his era before coming back to the present.

Now, old Frank is trying to pull off the impossible and change his own past. He’s already befriended the Castle family and even won over his younger self by posing as their long lost Uncle Fredo. Uatu the Watcher has been keeping an eye on the situation, and he knows that if Cosmic Ghost Rider succeeds in changing history then it may doom the Marvel Universe.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #5, Paul Scheer & Nick Giovannetti and artist Nate Stockman take us back to the day that Frank Castle’s family died and the Punisher was born. This is Cosmic Ghost Rider’s chance to fix everything. But first, he shares a story that puts himself into the events of The Avengers #1, as he needlessly antagonizes the Hulk.
