As soon as Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Noah Schnapp joined the Stranger Things cast, they saw their lives being turned upside-down with the show’s huge popularity. The young actors will return as Mike, Dustin, and Will, respectively, in the third season of the series. Speaking with Entertainment Today, they shared their comments on upcoming third season of Netflix’s science fiction horror series.
“It does a good job of mixing the playfulness of Season 1 and the darkness of Season 2,” Schnapp said. “Everything’s intensified,” Matarazzo stated. “It’s just a bigger, cooler… It’s awesome.”

Then they shared their predictions on how many seasons the series will continue, with almost all agreeing that it needs at least one or two seasons.
The first one to speak his mind was Schapp, who said that the show will go on for “probably like, five [seasons].” Then Matarazzo took the floor: “I think we should stop whenever the story feels like it needs to be completed,” he said. “If there’s no more story, there’s no more story.”
“I think we definitely need one more to like tie it all up,” Wolfhard concluded, with the other two agreeing. “Either one or two more. At least one more to tie it up.”
Recently, Stranger Things actor David Harbour has revealed that he knows what the end of Stranger Things is, but he hopes that the show will continue for more than just four seasons.
