Fan Sets a World Record by Watching Avengers: Endgame 103 Times

Many Marvel fans out there have seen Avengers: Endgame more than once. In fact, some have seen it about three, four, or even five times. But Agustin Alanis has seen it more than anyone who didn’t work on the film. He’s actually seen it over a hundred times – 103, in fact. As a result, he’s managed to set a new record.

Previously, Anthony “NemRaps” Mitchell held the record for the “most cinema productions attended” for the “same film” with Avengers: Infinity War earlier this year. This is based on a post from the Guinness World Records Twitter account back in February. But now, Alanis seemingly holds the record, although the official record hasn’t been updated yet.

Don’t feel too bad about Mitchell losing his title. In fact, Alanis gave him a proper nod in his tweet, honored to be sharing the record with him. Several Avengers stars, as well as directors Joe and Anthony Russo, received tags as well.

103 showings definitely adds up. The movie has about four to five times screenings a day. That adds up to around 35 showings a week. That means Alanis has spent about three weeks in a theater taking all these showings in.

Several Twitter users congratulated Alanis on setting the new record with Avengers: Endgame.

Alanis hasn’t noted how many more times he intends to see the film in theaters. It’s still screening in a few places, but it will likely make its transition to Digital HD and home video sometime later this summer or early fall.
