Claudio Sanchez and Evil Ink Comics announced today that they have partnered with Stephen Levinson’s Leverage (Boardwalk Empire, Entourage, Contraband) and Mark Wahlberg to develop their graphic novel series The Amory Wars into a live-action feature film. The Amory Wars, a sci-fi saga published by Boom! Studios, recently reached #4 on the New York Times Bestseller List for graphic books.
The Amory Wars is an epic fantasy set in a futuristic alternate universe. The series chronicles the rise of superhuman dictator Wilhelm Ryan, and the one family that could hold the key to liberating the world from his tyrannical reign.
