Sky Showbiz has posted this first photo of Peter Sarsgaard wearing the makeup for Dr. Hector Hammond on the New Orleans set of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Green Lantern. Hammond is a pathologist and son of a senator who is seen as a disappointment in his father’s (Tim Robbins) eyes. He becomes infused with psychic powers when he discovers a meteor.
Scheduled for a June 17, 2011 release, the Martin Campbell-directed comic book adaptation also stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Taika Waititi, Temuera Morrison, Angela Bassett, Jay O. Sanders and Jon Tenney.
